This comprehensive project included roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, entry door installation, and porch railing upgrades, all designed to improve durability, energy efficiency, and curb appeal.
The project began with the removal of the existing asphalt shingles, followed by the installation of Owens Corning Duration 30-Year shingles in Estate Grey. This roofing system was selected for its wind resistance, long-term performance, and dimensional appearance. The original wood siding was removed and replaced with Alside Prodigy insulated vinyl siding in Midnight Blue, significantly improving thermal performance. White accent corner posts and Alside Architectural Classics shingle-style siding were installed on the front gables, along with a white aluminum band board to enhance architectural detail.
To complete the exterior, new 5-inch aluminum gutters and 4-inch downspouts were installed in white. Aluminum soffit and fascia were upgraded using Alside trim in white to protect the roofline and improve ventilation. A new Mastercraft 6-panel garage entry door was installed and trimmed with aluminum, along with additional trim work around the garage door, service door, and front porch post. The project was finished with the installation of a white vinyl porch railing system, adding safety and a clean, welcoming appearance.
