The AHI roofing crew recently completed another successful roofing and aluminum fascia repair project. The project began by completely removing the existing roofing system and thoroughly inspecting the roof decking to ensure that it was in good condition. Following that, the AHI team installed ice and water shield to provide an additional layer of protection against water intrusion, as well as synthetic felt for added durability.
To complement the existing aesthetics of the home, the AHI team then installed color matching drip edge in Terra Bronze. This not only added a touch of elegance to the overall look of the home, but also provided additional protection for the roof’s edges.
The team then proceeded to install Owens Corning Duration shingles in Onyx Black. These shingles are known for their superior durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, making them an ideal choice for homeowners looking for long-lasting protection. Prior to this installation, the team upgraded the roof ventilation to the Owens Corning VentSure ridge vent system, which ensures proper ventilation and helps to prevent moisture buildup.
Lastly, the team replaced the missing aluminum fascia metal with custom bent aluminum fascia trim in Terra Bronze. This final touch added an extra layer of protection to the wood fascia and completed the overall look of the home.
