We are thrilled to share with you our successful completion of a recent roof, gutter, and skylight installation project carried out by Absolute Home Improvements. In this particular project, we removed all layers of the existing shingles and installed top-quality Owens Corning Duration Designer shingles in Black Sable, giving a perfect finish to the roof. We also upgraded the ventilation system to a more efficient ridge vent system to ensure proper airflow and ventilation. This upgrade will help regulate the temperature in the attic and reduce the load on the air conditioning system during summer.
We replaced two old and worn-out deck-mounted Velux skylights with two new tempered glass skylights, which will allow more natural light to enter the house and improve the overall ambiance and aesthetic value. The new skylights will also enhance energy efficiency, as they are designed to allow sunlight in while keeping the heat out.
For the gutters, we installed 5” K style seamless aluminum gutters with 3”x 4” aluminum spouts in Desert Sand. The new gutters are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional as they will channel water away from the roof and foundation of the house, keeping it safe from water damage.
