Absolute Home Improvements recently completed a comprehensive exterior improvement project on a single-family home in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The scope of work focused on upgrading the home’s windows, entry doors, and aluminum soffit and fascia to improve energy efficiency, long-term durability, and overall curb appeal while maintaining a cohesive exterior design.
This project included the installation of fourteen Alside Mezzo vinyl replacement windows. Each window featured a Rich Maple interior finish paired with a Sand Dune exterior, offering a warm interior aesthetic and a neutral, timeless exterior color. To add architectural detail, a contour single prairie grid pattern was incorporated into the window design. During installation, enhanced cavity foam was added to the window frame cavities to help reduce air infiltration and improve thermal performance. All windows were equipped with the ClimaTech glass package, consisting of double-pane, double-strength glass with a Low-E3 coating and argon gas fill to help regulate interior temperatures throughout Wisconsin’s seasonal extremes. The exterior of each window was finished with custom-bent Alside G8 aluminum trim coil in Sand Dune, creating a clean, low-maintenance finish.
The entry doors were replaced with Mastercraft two-panel steel entry doors featuring a lakeside decorative glass package. These doors were factory finished in dark oak and paired with satin nickel hardware for durability and a refined appearance. The exterior door frames were wrapped with matching Alside G8 aluminum trim in Sand Dune for added protection and visual consistency. To further enhance weather protection and ventilation, two Larson Lakeview split-view all-aluminum storm doors were installed, finished in brown with upgraded Low-E glass and aged bronze hardware.
To complete the exterior upgrades, royal brown aluminum soffit panels were installed along with custom-bent aluminum fascia in Sand Dune. These improvements enhanced attic ventilation, protected the roofline, and tied together the home’s updated exterior. The project was completed efficiently, and the homeowners were pleased with the improved comfort, appearance, and long-term value of their South Milwaukee home.
