Our team began by tearing off the existing roof to properly prepare the surface. We installed Owens Corning WeatherLock G ice and water shield to protect vulnerable areas from moisture intrusion, followed by Owens Corning Rhino synthetic underlayment for added durability and protection. The roof ventilation system was upgraded with Owens Corning VentSure ridge vent to help regulate attic temperatures and manage moisture throughout the year. To complete the roofing system, Owens Corning Duration asphalt shingles were installed in Driftwood, delivering strong wind resistance and a clean architectural appearance.
As part of this project, a Velux deck-mounted venting skylight was installed to bring in natural light and provide added ventilation. The skylight upgrade enhanced both the functionality and comfort of the home while complementing the new roof system.
