Absolute Home Improvements completed this garage roof, gutter, and gutter guard upgrade on a residential property in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The goal of this project was to restore the garage roof with durable materials while improving water management and reducing future maintenance.
The project began with the removal of two layers of existing asphalt shingles from the garage roof. Once properly prepped, a new Owens Corning Duration 30-Year asphalt shingle roof was installed in the color Desert Tan, providing dependable protection and a clean, finished appearance. This roofing system was selected for its durability and proven performance in Wisconsin’s weather conditions.
To complete the project, a new gutter system was installed, including 5-inch aluminum gutters and 4-inch aluminum downspouts in white. The system was finished with the installation of Gutter RX gutter guards, designed to keep leaves and debris out while allowing water to flow freely. This upgrade helps eliminate the need for regular gutter cleaning and improves long-term drainage performance for the garage.
