Absolute Home Improvements completed this roof, skylight, and gutter project on a residential home in Franklin, Wisconsin. The goal of this project was to replace aging roofing materials, improve attic ventilation, add natural light through new skylights, and upgrade the home’s drainage system.
Our team began by removing the existing roofing materials to properly prepare the roof surface. A new Owens Corning Duration asphalt shingle roof was installed in the color Storm Cloud, providing dependable protection, wind resistance, and a clean architectural appearance. To enhance the performance and lifespan of the roofing system, the attic ventilation was upgraded with the installation of Owens Corning SureVent ridge vent to help regulate temperature and moisture levels.
As part of the project, two Velux deck-mounted skylights were installed to increase natural light while maintaining a watertight, energy-efficient seal. To complete the exterior upgrades, we installed 5-inch seamless aluminum gutters and 4-inch aluminum downspouts in white, ensuring efficient water management and a finished, cohesive look. The project was completed efficiently with reliable, long-lasting results.
