Absolute Home Improvements completed this roofing and exterior repair project on a single-family home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The project began with a complete two-layer asphalt shingle tear-off, allowing our crew to properly prepare the roof surface and address several key exterior issues identified during the inspection.
Following tear-off, we installed Owens Corning Duration 30-Year asphalt shingles in the color Desert Tan. These shingles were selected for their durability, dimensional appearance, and ability to perform well in Wisconsin’s seasonal weather conditions. To support proper attic ventilation and long-term roof performance, Owens Corning Ridge Vent was installed along the roof peak to help regulate heat and moisture.
In addition to the roof replacement, this project included the installation of a tuck point chimney flashing to provide a secure, watertight seal where the roof meets the chimney. Fascia boards were replaced on all gables and the front lower eave to address deterioration and restore proper roof edge support. We also replaced the gutter along the front lower eave and repaired sections of sagging overhangs to improve structural alignment and drainage performance. The work was completed efficiently, delivering improved protection and a clean, finished exterior for this Waukesha home.
