Absolute Home Improvements recently completed a comprehensive exterior improvement project for a residential home in Glendale. This project focused on improving roof performance, drainage, and exterior durability while enhancing the overall appearance of the home.
The project began with a complete tear-off of the existing roofing system. Once removed, our team performed a thorough inspection of the roof decking and completed any necessary repairs to ensure a solid foundation for the new roof. We then installed proper roofing underlayments and finished the roof with Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles in Amber, a durable and visually appealing option backed by a limited lifetime warranty. To improve long-term performance, the roof ventilation system was upgraded with an Owens Corning VentSure ridge vent to promote proper attic airflow and moisture control.
In addition to the roofing work, we installed seamless 5” K-style aluminum gutters paired with 3” x 4” aluminum downspouts in white to efficiently manage water runoff and protect the home’s foundation. To complete the project, three new front posts were installed and wrapped with custom-bent white aluminum trim, creating a clean, low-maintenance finish designed to last.
