Absolute Home Improvements completed this roofing and exterior upgrade project on a single-family home in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The project began with a complete two-layer asphalt shingle tear-off, allowing our crew to properly prepare the roof surface and ensure a solid base for the new roofing system.
Following tear-off, we installed Owens Corning Oakridge 30-Year asphalt shingles in the color Brownwood. These shingles were selected for their durability, dimensional appearance, and ability to perform reliably in Wisconsin’s changing weather conditions. As part of the project, the chimney was tuck pointed and a tuck point chimney flashing was installed to create a secure, watertight seal where the roof meets the masonry.
Additional exterior work focused on the front porch area. Built-in gutters were removed, and our team tied into the existing rafters before installing new cedar fascia and soffit to restore proper structure and appearance. To complete the upgrade, 5K white aluminum seamless gutters were installed on the front porch to provide dependable drainage and a clean, finished look. The project was completed efficiently, improving roof performance, water management, and curb appeal for this Bay View home.
