Absolute Home Improvements completed this roofing and exterior modification project on a single-family home in East Troy, Wisconsin. The project began with a complete one-layer asphalt shingle tear-off, along with the removal of an existing rubber roof section at the front of the home. This allowed our crew to properly prepare the roof surface and address underlying structural needs before installing new materials.
Following tear-off, we installed Owens Corning Duration 30-Year asphalt shingles in the color Colonial Slate. These shingles were selected for their durability, dimensional appearance, and ability to perform reliably in Wisconsin’s seasonal weather conditions. To support proper attic ventilation and long-term roof performance, Owens Corning VentSure ridge vent was installed along the roof peak.
In addition to the roofing work, this project included reinforcing the attic space with new A-frames and a supporting wall to strengthen the roof structure. The chimney located at the back of the home was also removed as part of the project scope, allowing for a cleaner roofline and reduced long-term maintenance concerns. The work was completed efficiently, delivering improved structural support, ventilation, and exterior protection for this East Troy home.
