Absolute Home Improvements completed this roofing and exterior repair project on a single-family home in Shorewood, Wisconsin. The project began with a complete three-layer asphalt shingle tear-off, allowing our crew to properly inspect the roof structure and prepare the surface for new materials. Removing all existing layers ensured a solid foundation for long-term performance and reliability.
Following the tear-off, we installed GAF-ELK 30-Year High Definition Asphalt Shingles in the color Hickory. This shingle was selected for its durability, dimensional appearance, and ability to perform well in Wisconsin’s changing weather conditions. To improve ventilation and help regulate attic heat and moisture, GAF-ELK Snow & Country Ridge Vent was installed along the roof peak.
During the project, damaged fascia boards were identified and replaced to restore proper support and protect the roof edge from future moisture issues. In addition, six rubber roof sections were installed above second-floor windows. These rubber roofing areas provide dependable waterproof protection in low-slope sections where traditional shingles are not suitable. The project was completed efficiently, delivering improved protection and a clean, finished exterior for this Shorewood home.
