Absolute Home Improvements completed this full exterior renovation on a residential home in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, combining roofing, siding, gutter, soffit, and fascia upgrades into one cohesive project. The goal was to improve durability, ventilation, and curb appeal while installing low-maintenance materials suited for Wisconsin’s climate.
The project began with the removal of the existing asphalt shingles. A new Owens Corning Duration 30-Year asphalt shingle roof was installed in the color Teak, providing long-lasting protection and a dimensional appearance. As part of the roofing upgrade, attic ventilation was improved with the installation of Owens Corning SureVent ridge vent to help regulate airflow and reduce moisture buildup.
New 5-inch aluminum gutters and 4-inch aluminum downspouts were installed in Wicker to complete the drainage system. Aluminum fascia was installed around the entire home, with aluminum trim added to the front beams and posts. Aluminum soffit was installed on both dormers to protect exposed areas and provide a finished look. The project was completed by removing the existing aluminum siding and installing Alside Prodigy insulated double 6-inch vinyl siding in Vintage Wicker, delivering improved energy efficiency and a clean, updated exterior.
