Absolute Home Improvements completed this siding and gutter upgrade on a single-family home in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The project began with a full tear-off of the existing wood siding, allowing our crew to properly prepare the exterior walls and address the home’s insulation needs before installing new materials.
After removal, 1/4-inch fanfold insulation was installed to improve energy efficiency and create a smooth, consistent surface for the new siding system. The home was then finished with Mastic Quest vinyl siding in the color Portsmouth Blue. This siding was selected for its durability, low-maintenance performance, and ability to withstand Wisconsin’s seasonal weather while providing a fresh, updated appearance.
To complete the exterior details, all windows along with the front and back entry doors were wrapped with white aluminum trim to create clean lines and protect exposed edges from moisture. The project also included the installation of 5-inch seamless aluminum gutters with 4-inch aluminum downspouts in white to improve water management and protect the home’s foundation. The work was completed efficiently, resulting in improved exterior performance and enhanced curb appeal for this South Milwaukee home.
