Absolute Home Improvements completed this siding and window replacement project on a residential home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The goal of this project was to improve energy efficiency, eliminate exterior maintenance, and modernize the home’s overall appearance using premium, long-lasting materials.
Our team began by removing the existing cedar siding and installing Alside 3/8-inch fanfold insulation, which added approximately 1.5 R-value to the exterior walls and created a smooth, insulated base for the new siding system. We then installed Alside Charter Oak Premium .046 mil vinyl siding in Vintage Wicker, delivering a classic look backed by a lifetime warranty for long-term peace of mind.
To complete the exterior envelope, Norandex Rugged Canyon aluminum soffit panels and a custom-bent aluminum fascia system were installed, making the home fully maintenance-free at the roofline. As part of this project, we also installed an Alside Promenade 6400 series patio door, a 3-lite Alside Mezzo sliding window, and an Alside Mezzo double-hung bathroom window. All exterior trim was wrapped with Rugged Canyon Norandex aluminum trim for a clean, durable finish. The project was completed efficiently with a cohesive, high-quality result.
